Ask Anyway!

James 4:1 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
You do not have because you do not ask.
Reasons not to ask:
*I’m not deserving.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
*I’m afraid of rejection.
Isaiah 41:9 . . .
I have chosen you and not rejected you.
10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
*I will be indebted to God.
Too late! Colossians 2:13 When you were dead . . . 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
*My pride.

*I’ll incur more responsibilities.
